A receipt is a number with its source attached: the document (a filing, a statistics release), the period it describes, the date it was published, and the lag between the two. In a company's financial statements, one click on a number shows its receipt and a link to the filing. Where a number has no receipt yet, we are adding a label that says so.
Share prices and some market quotes come from a third-party price feed, not from a filing, so they carry no receipt yet. We are adding a label that says so on the number. In a company's financial statements, numbers link to the filing they came from. We'd rather tell you a number has no receipt than pretend it does.

In a company's financial statements, the receipt prints the lag: the days between the end of the period and the filing. 13F holdings are up to 45 days behind the quarter by law. Some government statistics are published weeks after the period they describe. Most pages show when they were last updated.
No. Our numbers are computed by a deterministic engine, never by the language model. The model only writes the sentence around a number. If a feed looks broken, we'd rather show nothing than a wrong figure.
Your positions are encrypted in your browser with AES-256-GCM before anything leaves your device. Our servers store the ciphertext, and the key comes from your password or PIN and is never sent to us, so we can't read your holdings. Direct messages are different: they are encrypted at rest but readable by us, so don't send secrets in them.
